Food and Wine Pairings - Sample several wines with several different foods. Learn why some wines go better with some foods and how to choose the right wine for your meal.
Drink good wines, eat good foods, learn, laugh, meet some nice new people and have a great time. After all, if wine isn't fun, you're not doing it right. You learn more when you are having fun - and we want you to learn a lot!
Future Plans / Additional Services * Wine Makers Dinners - Why stop at a just a day of education when you can finish it off with an incredible evening of food and wine paired just for you. * Corporate Classes - Full range of services, class topics, locations, etc. * Training for Tasting Room Staff - If your tasting room staff has a better understanding of wine and can talk intelligently to your guests, you will sell more wine, sign up better wine club customers and have a better bottom line. * Cooking Demonstration Classes with gourmet Chefs. This has so much potential. We can do these at several locations. We are going to be doing these at local wineries and some choice local B&B's. * Wine Retreat - This is our ultimate course where we spend two days and nights at a B&B and conduct a mini "Wine Camp". Deluxe accommodations, gourmet food, premium wines from around the world, private wine education and the most relaxing atmosphere you can find! We can take up to six couples for this once in a lifetime experience. Secluded, peaceful and in the heart of wine country. Life doesn't get better!
- Meet Harry -
Harry has managed several retail wine outlets in Las Vegas and Portland. Five years experience in tasting rooms throughout the Willamette Valley Two years at Maysara to learn about Bio-Dynamic Farming and wine making. Harry worked under Gary Andrus at Gypsy Dancer to learn Gary's wine making style and vineyard techniques. He has owned and operated VINworks for eighteen years offering wine education classes to hundreds of people. He has served as wine judge to competitions such as Sommelier Society of America, McMinnville Wine and Food Classic, Portland Wine and Art Festiveal and Vino on the Coast. He was the coordinator for the first Ultimate Pinot Noir Challenge in 2006. Contact us:
